I never met Tom in person, yet I consider him my friend.
Back in the earlier days, pre-Facebook, he stood shoulder
to shoulder with all of us commenters on Racing articles. Always staunch in his belief racing
greyhounds was a thing of the past.
He was one of those instrumental in helping me set up my
blog. While it has been silent for some
time, we will never go away, Tom.
He never lost his enthusiasm in fighting for the dogs and
later many other animals and posted often in his blog Pack Mentality.
He fought a great fight for the animals, he fought the
greatest fight against his cancer.
The world has lost a great warrior for the animals. And many of us lost a dear friend.
Rest gently now, my friend. It was an honor to have known you.
