‘Tis The Night Before Christmas

Another year has passed and the kids and me find ourselves getting ready for Christmas morning. (Ok, I’m doing all the getting ready and preparing.  Hounds make lousy helpers…)

Cookies have been made and distributed (almost).

Stockings are hung by the cold fireplace (no flue and very, very cold...).

New stuffies wrapped and under the tree.

New ortho beds waiting to be brought upstairs.  (And no, I did NOT wrap them…not even a bow)

Doggie sausages wrapped, kitteh toys and treats, all tucked under the tree and wrapped.

And while I love silly hounds in holiday gear, Craigie and Dee do not cooperate.  I giggle, they get annoyed.

This year we plan a very merry!  A gourmet dinner (my version) is planned for Christmas day.

I spend much of the year bashing certain factions, but in the spirit of the season, I take this time out to wish all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza, Feliz Navidad and any others I may have missed.

Blessing to all.  From me and mine to you and yours.

Good tidings!
